Good Morning, Heritage Hawks!
It was another great week at Heritage. We have been working a lot on practicing our speaking and listening skills with speeches and academic discourse. Kuddos to all 4th, 5th, and 6th grade students who tried out for the first round of the speech competition and congratulations to our classroom winners!
We also celebrated many classes this week who received the attendance award: Mrs. Camberos, Mrs. Roberto, Mrs. Rincon, Mrs. Eddington, Mr. Escalona, Mrs. Ogas, Mr. Martinez, Mrs. Hall, and Mr. Figueroa. Please help your child’s class earn their award by bringing your child to school every day. We hope to see you this Friday to celebrate our conclusion of The Great Kindness Challenge with Channel 93.9 from 7:15 to 7:45 a.m.
We need your HELP families! Please speak to your children about ensuring that our school stays neat and clean. Our bathrooms have recently been vandalized (over multiple days) with toilet paper, toilet seat covers, and even soap dispensers being stuffed into toilets. This has caused some damage to our bathrooms and creates additional work for Mr. Pedro and our night custodians. Please ask your children to tell an adult if they witness any of these actions taking place. Thank you for your support!

Want to give your student a sweet surprise on Valentine’s day? Send them a Valentine’s Gram!! The PTO will be selling Valentine’s Grams before and after school from February 6-10 and grams will be delivered to students in class on February 14. For those unable to make the booth, the PTO is offering the option to purchase Surprise Bag Valentine’s Grams between now and February 10. Click the Cheddar Up link below. “Add to Cart” the dollar value of the Surprise Bag you would like to send to your student (add multiple if more than one student), provide the Student Information, and the PTO will craft a Surprise Bag to be delivered to your student’s classroom on Valentine’s Day.

- No Parking in the Bus Loop or in the Staff Parking. This area is designated for staff, busses and emergency vehicles.
