Hello Heritage Hawk Families!

We are beginning our third week of instruction and I’m so proud of all the hard work your students are putting in! We have Curriculum Night this week on Wednesday. Session One begins at 5:30pm and Session Two begins at 6:05pm in the Auditorium. See below for additional information.

COVID-19 is hitting our school community very hard and we’ve seen and spike in COVID cases this week. We are working hard to follow all California Department of Health guidelines by ensuring that classrooms are sanitized, students are washing their hand, highly recommending that students wear masks so as not to spread COVID, teachers are transitioning to classrooms rather than having students transition to different classrooms (Dual Immersion), our attendance health clerk is monitoring COVID cases and our district office is providing guidance. Please ensure that you carefully follow COVID protocols laid out below and keep your child home if they are exhibiting any COVID-like symptoms. Your support is greatly appreciated!

PTO 2022-2023 Board Election

The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is comprised of parents and teachers who are devoted to supporting the 
educational goals of the school and enriching the learning experiences of our students. The purpose of the PTO is to foster a sense of support, pride, and enthusiasm while being devoted to supporting the educational goals of the school and enriching the learning experiences of our students. Through fundraising and family activities, we will promote positive school and community relationships that enhance our children’s educational environment.
PTO Board members serve a 1-year term, with 2-consecutive term limit per position.

Thank you for your nominations. Nominations were collected last week and closed on July 24th at 5:00 p.m. , however, we still have 4 open positions, so please continue to nominate for those open positions while you vote.

Please take a moment to vote for one person in each category. Elections will close on Friday, July 29th at 3:00 p.m.

Hello Heritage Hawk Families!

Congratulations on the completion of our first week at Heritage Elementary School. Dr. Schnitzer and I had the opportunity to walk the campus numerous times throughout the week to see your students and our teachers in action. We were amazed by the level of engagement and relationship building happening in each classroom! 

Our goal is to communicate with our Heritage Hawk families on a weekly basis. Your family will receive an email from our Heritage Office on Sunday at approximately 10:00am.  Once all our teachers have set up their ClassDojo accounts, we will send out messaging as needed. 

Once again, we want to welcome you to Heritage Elementary. We’re looking forward to an OUTSTANDING academic year!

TK & Kindergarten Assessment Days

  • TK & Kindergarten classes will dismiss at 12:00pm on Monday and Tuesday, 07/25 and 07/26 this week. Normal school hours begin for TK & Kindergarten students on Wednesday, 07/27/22.

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year!!

Good Afternoon Heritage Hawks! We’re excited to have your back for this coming academic school year. We wanted to share a few dates and times for you to prepare for the new school year. We have one week to go!

Coming Events

Heritage Welcome Walkthrough

Tuesday, July 19, 2022 @ 2:30-3:30pm

Our Heritage campus will be open to parents and families to do a self-directed tour of the campus to find your child’s classroom and blacktop line up spot. Teachers will not be available, but they will be leaving a small message on their classroom doors to welcome you!

First Day of School

School begins on Wednesday, July 20th at 7:45am. Additional information will be coming out this Friday afternoon. (7/15/2022)
