PTO Budget

This 2022-2023 School Year proved to be a HUGE success with regard to fundraising. The PTO was able to meet ALL of their goals this year. Some special highlights going to:

Events

  • Fall Festival
  • Holiday Grams
  • Book Fair
  • School Dance
  • Chalk Festival
  • Family Restaurant Nights
  • Fun Run (Coming This Week)

There is an approximate budget remaining of $50,000 that will be rolled over into next year. $35,000 of these funds are reserved to pay for the biggest goal of purchasing and upgrading all classrooms with 75 inch televisions for instructional purposes. The TV’s will be installed over the summer break. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

The remaining $15,000 (approximate) will roll over into next year’s budget and will allow the PTO to start with beginning of year events, PTO membership drive, purchase of Heritage Swag (Sweatshirts, t-shirts, etc.).

Thank you to the PTO for ALL your hard work, dedication, and support this academic school year!

Thank you to the parents who attended this year’s events and graciously donated and helped to fund all our school-wide goals and Grade Level Grants.

We are SUPER APPRECIATIVE of you!!

Extended Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP)

“Extended Learning” means before-school, after-school, weekend, summer, or intersession learning programs that focus on developing pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and physical needs and interests through hands-on, engaging learning experiences. The Legislature intends that expanded learning programs are pupil-centered, results-driven, include community partners, and complement, but do not replicate, learning activities in the regular school day and school year.

We need your help to gather ideas about what programs we would like to add to our school’s before and/or after school program. If you or a community member have a special talent and are interested in leading a program please add your information to the ELOP Brainstorm Form.

From the HEALTH OFFICE

TK families….Please be on the lookout for a notice from the school nurse regarding missing CHDP physicals (green form) and oral assessments (pink form). Summer break is the perfect time to make those appointments and get those forms filled out. If you would like to opt out of those 2 requirements, please fill out the waivers and send them to the health office.

Reminder for those with medications at school….You will need to pick up your medications from the health office by the last day of school or the medication will be discarded. Medications and updated MD orders will be due for the next school year. New forms will be sent home in the next couple weeks.

Donations needed….Heritage Health Office needs donations of clean clothes to have on hand for children who need to change clothes during the school day. If you have any clean children’s clothes that you no longer need, please bring to the health office. We are also accepting donations of new, packaged socks and underwear for this same purpose. Thank you!
