Quarter 4 Week 2 : Week of April 10, 2023
Good Morning, Heritage Hawks!
CHALK FESTIVAL is here! We’ll be celebrating our Annual Chalk Festival this Thursday, 04/13 from 7:45-2:15pm. We NEED VOLUNTEERS! Please sign up and support your student’s classroom. See below for more details. Thank you!
This week we are celebrating awesome attendance in rooms: 401 with 97%, 402 with 97%, 607 with 100%, and 806 with 98%. Please be sure to help your child’s class win an attendance award by bringing your child to school every day on time. The 4th and final quarter is filled with CA state testing, Local Measure Assessments, year end projects, and end of year events. We begin this quarter with the CSA Testing (Spanish for Dual Language: Grades 3-6). You will find a link to our Parent CAASPP Testing PDF here and a testing schedule below.
We’re looking forward to an AMAZING 4th quarter. Have a great week!

From the HEALTH OFFICE
If your child has COVID-like symptoms such as fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, and/or diarrhea they will need to provide proof of a negative COVID test to remain in school.
Those with symptoms can return with a negative COVID test, no fever for 24 hours without fever-reducing medication, and symptoms improving. Students do not need to be symptom-free to attend school.
Heritage Health Office needs donations of clean clothes to have on hand for children who need to change clothes. If you have any clean children’s shorts or sweatpants that you no longer need, please bring to the health office. We are also accepting donations of new, packaged socks and underwear for this same purpose.
