ATTENDANCE MATTERS! BE HERE AND ON TIME!

School attendance is a powerful predictor of student outcomes. In fact, irregular attendance can be a better predictor of whether students will drop out of school before graduation than test scores, according to the US Department of Education.

The correlation between attendance and dropout rates has important ramifications that go beyond the classroom. For every day of school missed, it takes 3 days for children to try and catch up. Please ensure your child(ren) is at school, on time, every day! Please plan vacations, doctor and dentist appointments during school breaks.

Our school’s average daily attendance is 96 %, our goal is 98%-we can do it together! Help us reach our goal by having your child attend each day!

From the Health Desk

From Nurse Jade:

Kindergarten & 1st grade parents, Please keep your eyes peeled for oral health (pink) and physical forms (green) that will be coming home with those students who have not already turned them in. Please either have them completed by your child’s doctor/dentist or complete the waiver section and return them to the office as soon as possible. I need a completed form from each student.

COVID-19 updates

Please continue to keep your child at home if they are exhibiting symptoms like: cough, sore throat, congested or runny nose, headaches, new loss of taste or smell.
