Parent Conferences are here! We are excited to connect with families beginning this Thursday afternoon. Please reach out to your student’s teacher if you have not yet scheduled a Parent Conference. Remember that Conference days are Minimum Days and school begins at 7:45am -12:45pm.
We have our first PTO event, BINGO Night happening this Friday, 9/16/2022 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. See more PTO information below.

Our PTO has officially started this year’s Membership Drive! Parents who sign up as a members receive “Free Homework” passes. The classroom with the most students/families participating will win a MOVIE PARTY, complete with PIZZA and PIJAMAS!
Our PTO is making great efforts to support our school. Below are several of the BIG GOALS that we are working toward.
- New TV’s in EVERY classroom (Instructional & Communication Tools)
- Support Teacher Classroom Funds
- Support Noon Duty and Janitor Needs
- Support Technology Needs
- HAVE FUN EVENTS for our kids and families!!!

Heritage’s 2022 Haunted House – “HAUNTED WITCHES DEN”
PTO needs donations of the following items for our haunted house hosted during our Fall Festival (10/21/22)
- Any bottles/jars
- Creepy dolls & doll clothes
- Plastic snake
- Old neckties
- Old Candles
- Old books
- Please drop the donations to the school’s main office by no later than Friday, Sept. 23 (last day of school before Fall break starts).

Parents please submit your Annual Proof of Residency if you have not already submitted it for SY 22/23. I still have many residency forms pending. I am missing either the proof of residency or verification forms. Please submit by September 15th, 2022.

Please continue to keep your child at home if they are exhibiting symptoms like: cough, soar throat, congested or runny nose, headaches, new loss of taste or smell.
Help our community stay safe and COVID free. We need to look out for one another by keeping sick children at home. If your child has a chronic medical condition such as Asthma, please use this link and have your student’s doctor fill it out so they are not sent home. (Chronic Medical Condition Form)

- Report Positive COVID-19 Cases to Yanuen Romero at Yanuen.Romero@cvesd.org or call the front office at (619) 421-7080 to report a positive COVID case AND parents should report positive test results via the Positive Test Reporting Link (office.com).
- Students will not be allowed back to class without proof of a negative COVID test result.
- Negative COVID test results should be sent to covtest4@cvesd.org AND to Yanuen Romero at Yanuen.Romero@cvesd.org.

Volunteer 1-2 days weekly requires: Negative TB Test Results (every 4 years), COVID Vax Card or negative Test Result w/in 24 hours, Present ID and Raptor System (in office)
Volunteer 3 or more days weekly requires: Negative TB Test Results (every 4 years), COVID Vax Card or negative Test Result w/in 24 hours, Present ID and Raptor System (in office), FingerPrint Background Check
